In December 2015, Robert McGee’s first foray into feature films premiered at the Whistler Film Festival. “Love in the Sixth” is described as an unromantic musical comedy about extinction. The film had virtually no budget and all involved played multiple roles. Robert McGee was Director of Photography, cinematographer, director and sometimes lighting specialist! It was through the hard work and persistence of Judith Klassen of Judecast that the project reached completion. Brett and Jason Butler (of SubProd), as well as starring in the movie, stepped in and edited the movie in record time, ready to submit to the film festival.
The movie is featured on IMDb here, the Whistler Film Festival website here, and the Western Canadian film magazine, Reel West. To see the article in Reel West click here and turn to page 16!!
